Het Meisje met de parel is misschien wel het bekendste schilderij van Johannes Vermeer. Zij is met zo ontzettend veel detail geschilderd dat het haast moeilijk voor te stellen is dat zij niet echt bestond, maar een fantasieportret is. We hebben dit meisje met haar dromerige blik afgebeeld op een wandbord als onderdeel van onze speciale collectie. Onze eigen meesterschilders hebben het originele portret gebruikt en hebben er een mooi eigentijds bloemendecor in pastelkleuren omheen gemaakt. De zachte pastelkleuren van de bloemen versterken het originele portret en maken haar blik nog zachter. Heinen Delfts Blauw maakt deze speciale collectie, om door de ogen van de wereldberoemde meesterschilder naar onze gedeelde geschiedenis te kijken want dit is ook de periode waarin de productie van Delfts blauw opbloeide.
