Deze halfvolkoren vermicelli is door de lichte textuur en snelle kooktijd ideaal om te gebruiken in delicate gerechten en soepen. Gemaakt door de familie Barbagallo, waar inmiddels de vierde generatie aan het roer staat. Durumtarwe wordt in 28 stappen gemalen tot semolina. De semolina wordt binnen 24 uur verwerkt tot pastadeeg, wat vervolgens in bronzen mallen wordt geperst voor een ambachtelijke textuur. Tot slot wordt de macaroni op lage temperatuur gedroogd voor een optimale smaak en nutriënten. Échte ambachtelijke Italiaanse pasta dus!
