Deze biologisch katoenen zak houdt je groenten en fruit tot wel twee weken langer vers. In tegenstelling tot plasticzakken of dozen die groenten verstikken houdt deze zak je groenten levend en knapperig in een vochtige, ademende omgeving.
Goed om te weten:
- maten: Medium: 27,9 x 30,5cm Large: 27,9 x 43,2cm
- De Vejibag gebruikt vochtigheid en luchtstroom om producten langer vers te houden.
- Maak de zak nat door hem onder de kraan te houden en uit te wringen. Daarna stop je je groenten erin en leg je het in de koelkast. Hiermee wordt een vochtig milieu gecreëerd waarin de groenten kunnen ademen en het bedervingsproces vertraagd.
Waarom Eco&Social?
Eigenaresse Sally Erickson, ontdekte dat zelfs de meest verse groenten bruin worden als ze in plastic worden bewaard, maar ook in karton. Sally maakte een prototype van haar eerste 'vegetarische' tassen van biologische stof in haar woonkamer en begon haar producten van de boerenmarkt te leveren aan haar klanten onder de naam Vejibags. De groentezakken worden nu maatschappelijk verantwoord met de hand genaaid door Opportunity Threads, werknemers in Valdese, North Carolina.
