Een spätburgunder is het Duitse equivalent van de Franse Pinot Noir. Deze Urgestein (voorheen Mölsheimer) Spätburgunder heeft 8 maanden gerijpt op Holzfass en dan ontstaat een mooie volle wijn met veel rood fruit en mineralen en dankzij de kalkgronden een opmerkelijke frisheid. Een wijn die ik zelf ´s avonds graag drink en in kwaliteit en proeverijen goed meekomt met andere veelal duurdere Pinot Noirs. Een volle wijn met veel rood fruit en mineralen en dankzij de kalkgronden een opmerkelijke frisheid. De wijn smaakt op zijn best als hij licht gekoeld gedronken wordt.
Deze wijn is gemaakt van de Pinot Noir druif.
