Chablis 1er Cru Montee de Tonnerre 2021
The Chablis 1er Cru Montee de Tonnerre is a privileged terroir dating back to the Kimmeridgian era with southeast exposure.
The alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are made with indigenous yeasts in old oak barrels of different sizes (from 132l to 400l), followed by a 15-month ageing on lees.
A light gold colour of beautiful intensity. fresh, fine and subtle nose, dominated by aromas of flint, elderberry and hazelnut.
The palate is round, balanced and fruity, finishing on notes of tangerines and caramel.
A discreet wine, showing more finesse and length than power.
Finding themselves in their last biodynamic dynamic conversion year Domaine Ternynck continues with their traditional vinification style, pleasing us with every new vintage of pure, terroir driven wines.
