Silvo Basmati rijst wordt verbouwd in de Punjab, aan de voet van het Himalayagebergte. De mooie, lange, slanke, witte, droogkokende rijstkorrel rijpt in het natuurzuivere smeltwater van de sneeuw van het Himalayagebergte. Mede hierdoor is deze van nature geurende rijstsoort van superieure kwaliteit. Basmati rijst behoort, mede door zijn rijke smaak, tot de beste rijstsoorten ter wereld en wordt door de plaatselijke bevolking trots "koninginnerijst" genoemd. Basmati rijst is met veel zorg door ons geslepen en geglansd, dus absolute topkwaliteit.
