Gelegen in Haro, Rioja Alta, het hart van de DOC Rioja. De bodem is kalk- en leemhoudend. Ramon Bilbao heeft wijnbezittingen op de beste plekken van de Rioja streek. De wijngaarden liggen daar, waar de warme wind uit de droge Sierra de Cantabria tegen de koelere mediterrane wind aanbotst.

Complexe rode wijn met aroma’s van opgelegde rozijnen in likeur en sandelhout. Overweldigende, elegante mineralige afdronk. Deze wijn zal zeker nog beter evolueren met de jaren. Moderne vinificatie met lagering op Amerikaanse eiken vaten gedurende 14 maanden en 6 maanden op fles. Deze wijn combineert goed met gebraden vlees en harde kazen.
