Met het eten van deze chocolade bescherm je de gorilla's en bied je de bewoners een betere toekomst! De laatste berggorilla's leven namelijk in het Virunga Nationale Park in Oost Congo. Om de aantasting van hun leefgebied door de mens tegen te gaan is cacao aangeplant aan de rand van het park. De cacao voorziet de bewoners van extra inkomen zodat ze niet het leefgebied van de gorilla's bedreigen. Deze verantwoorde reep is verpakt in vetvrij papier bedrukt met bio-inkt. Deze chocolade is een versproduct. De reep is ruim een half jaar houdbaar maar wij adviseren de reep binnen 3 maanden op te eten. Simpelweg omdat de smaak dan beter is.
