Preisinger - Kalkundkiesel Weiss 2022
is a blend of Weissburgunder, Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling and Muskateller.
White wine with short skin contact, fresh and expressive.
Vortex of elderflower, hay and white fruit on the nose.
Generous acidity and notes of green apple and lemon.
It is great as an aperitif or companion to asparagus, ceviche, white fish, pork or Austrian Käsekrainer.
Claus Preisinger is one of the members of the 9 man strong Pannobile alliance.
Founded in 1994 greatly responsible for purging the Austrian wine scene after the Glykolwein-Skandal in the mid 80s and bringing back glory to native grape varieties of Austrian vineyards, recognizing relevance of terroir and authenticity;
Leaving far behind the wine industry being preoccupied with implementation of “modern” methods, technology and additives resulting in impersonal and passionless brew.
