Over de ontwerper: Ronan Bouroullec (geboren in 1971) en Erwan Bouroullec (geboren in 1976) werken al bijna 15 jaar samen. Hun samenwerking is een permanente dialoog gevoed door hun verschillende persoonlijkheden en een gedeelde notie van toewijding met de bedoeling om meer balans en finesse te bereiken. De in Parijs gevestigde broers ontwerpen voor tal van internationale fabrikanten, namelijk Vitra, Kvadrat, Magis, Kartell, Established and Sons, Ligne Roset, Axor, Alessi, Cappellini, Mattiazzi en meer recentelijk Flos en Mutina. Tegelijkertijd onderhouden ze een experimentele activiteit die essentieel is voor de ontwikkeling van hun werk in Galerie kreo, Parijs, waar tussen 2001 en 2012 vier tentoonstellingen van hun ontwerpen zijn gehouden. Verschillende tentoonstellingen zijn gewijd aan hun werk van de Design Museum in Londen in 2012, naar het Museum voor Hedendaagse Kunst MOCA in Los Angeles in 2004, naar het Centre Pompidou Metz en het Vitra Design Museum in 2012. Dit jaar werd een nieuw uitgebreid monografische boek uitgegeven, genaamd Works, door Phaidon Press.
