De Pieremegoggel is geen alledaagse Saison. Belle Saison-gist vergist bijna alle suikers uit de wort. Hierdoor blijven er weinig restsuikers over, wat het bier droog maakt. Ook geeft het gist een kruidig en peperig karakter aan het bier. Amerikaanse hoppen waaronder Citra maken dit bier voor een Saison hoppig en fruitig.
Hibiscus
De toevoeging van Hibiscus geeft een licht zuurtje en is een bijzondere toevoeging aan zowel smaak, aroma als kleur. Dit alles maakt de Pieremegoggel weliswaar toegankelijk en fris, maar toch zeer complex en gelaagd voor de fijnproever.
