Description
De vader van Frank is een beroemde autocoureur. Hij wint met zijn race-auto alle wedstrijden. Tot hij, op een fatale avond, een vreselijk ongeluk krijgt, waardoor hij eerst zijn been, dan zijn vrouw en ook nog eens zijn baan kwijtraakt. Gelukkig vindt hij ander werk. Hij wordt chauffeur bij de bende van gangsterbaas 'Grote Baas'. Dat kan natuurlijk niet lang goed gaan en wanneer hij in de gevangenis belandt, doet Frank er alles aan hem te helpen ontsnappen... Zoals alle boeken van komiek David Walliams, is ook Papa Bandiet naast een spannend boek waarin lekker veel gebeurt, vooral ontzettend grappig.
