As clean and crisp as fresh linen, Opok Weiss is Muster’s so-called “entry-level” wine—but there’s nothing basic about it. A blend of Chardonnay, Gelber Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc, and Welschriesling from steep, limestone-rich slopes on the Slovenian border. The name Opok comes from the dense clay, silt, and marl soils that give this wine its quiet depth.
Delicate white flowers on the nose, soft orchard fruit, and a streak of citrusy acidity that keeps it lively. Light on its feet at just 10.5%, but still layered, structured, and beautifully balanced.
Drink it cold, drink it often—it’s as easygoing as it is elegant.
