Simon Legald studeerde in de zomer van 2012 af aan de Koninklijke Deense Academie voor Schone Kunsten. Zijn werk bestaat uit zowel klein- als grootschalige producten. Simons ontwerpen komen vaak tot stand in een dialoog tussen vakmanschap en industrie. Ook verwerkt hij graag de technieken die nodig zijn voor de structuur van een product in het ontwerp door ze visueel te benadrukken.
