Mortadella is een typisch Italiaanse roze worst gemaakt van varkensvlees met stukjes spek en peperkorrels. Het wordt soms vergeleken met de Nederlandse boterhamworst. Lekker als voorgerecht of in de pasta. Het verhaal achter de Fumagalli delicatessen is als een sprookje. Bijna 100 jaar geleden verkocht grootvader Mario zijn traditionele vleeswaar in een klein winkeltje. Tegenwoordig is het een avant-garde voedselbedrijf, waar opa's echtheid nooit uit het oog is verloren. En dat is te proeven in de vleeswaren van hoge kwaliteit.
