Ceremonial Matcha is groene theepoeder gemaakt van vermalen eerste pluk theeblaadjes van de eerste oogst in het voorjaar. Het is direct afkomstig van biologische theeplantages in Kagoshima, Japan. Deze Matcha is prachtig groen van kleur, omdat het veel chlorofyl (bladgroen) bevat. Dit komt doordat de theebladeren 4-5 weken voor de oogst onder grote schermen in de schaduw groeien. De theebladeren worden nadat ze zijn geplukt, gestoomd, gedroogd en vermalen tot poeder. De smaak kan omschreven worden als: zeer puur, fris, grassig, zoet en romig. Bedoeld om puur te drinken.
