Lorre heeft Goud gewonnen bij de Dutch Beer Challenge 2022!
Lorre is een zoetzuur bier met toevoeging van mango en passievrucht. Het is een kettle sour, wat inhoudt dat er verschillende melkzuurbacteriën in de ketel worden toegevoegd, om de wort gedurende 48 uur aan te zuren tot een pH van 3,2. Dit straffe zuurtje balanceert met zoetigheid door een lage vergistingsgraad en toevoeging van lactose, waardoor het bier veel restsuikers bevat. Motueka hop die wordt toegevoegd in de whirpool geeft dit bier een tropisch hoparoma.

Tijdens de vergisting worden grote hoeveelheden pure mango en passievrucht aan het bier toegevoegd, die dit bier een tropische traktatie maken.
