Koya tofu is tofu die bevroren is en daarna gedroogd. Tofu is een uitstekend sojabonenproduct dat in het Oosten al honderden jaren gebruikt wordt. Het is een goed alternatief voor vlees. Sojabonen bevatten bijna 40% eiwitten en zijn gemakkelijk verteerbaar en worden sneller opgenomen dan dierlijk eiwit. Met nigari gestremde tofu is een alkalisch voedsel dat echter een korte bewaartijd heeft.
De koya tofu van Muso heeft alle ingrediënten van tofu en omdat het gevriesdroogd is kan het lange tijd bewaard worden. Koya tofu heeft een totaal andere smaak en samenstelling dan verse tofu. Het is een goed ingrediënt voor plantaardige sushi.
Ingrediënten : SOJABONEN, calciumchloride (verstevigingsmiddel), bakpoeder (natriumbicarbonaat), palmolie (antischuimmiddel), SOJA LECITHINE (antischuimmiddel), magnesiumcarbonaat (antischuimmiddel)
