Amaizin Kokoscreme (ook wel santen genoemd) komt van een biologische projekt uit Sri Lanka. Het is het geconcentreerde vruchtvlees van kokosnoten. Kokoscreme wordt, net als kokosmelk, gebruikt om een volle smaak toe te voegen aan uw favoriete Aziatische en etnische gerechten.

Hoe kokoscreme te gebruiken.
Kokoscreme, santen, is het pure vruchtvlees van de kokosnoot, hetzelfde dus als geconcentreerde kokosmelk. De creme kan in allerlei gerechten gebruikt worden waar santen of kokosmelk staat vermeld. De verhouding met kokosmelk is ongeveer 1 op 5. ½ blok santen met 5 dl water is hetzelfde als 1 ½ blik kokosmelk. Staat er in een recept 400ml kokosmelk, dan voeg je 1/3 blok santen toe en extra vocht. Het aangesproken blok santen kan het beste in de koelkast of diepvries worden bewaard.
