Heb jij de Kaki al geprobeerd? Deze vrucht lijkt een beetje op een oranje tomaat, met een mooi kroontje aan de bovenkant en smaakt heerlijk zoet. Eigenlijk zou je ?m zelf gewoon moeten proeven, want het omschrijven van de smaak is lastig; het is een zachte vrucht, waar je een combinatie van abrikoos, dadel en mango in proeft. Hoe je de kaki eet? Zo rijp mogelijk! Als de vrucht zacht aanvoelt en de schil een beetje doffer wordt, dan is je kaki ready to eat. Je kunt ?m zo eten, gewoon met schil en al. Als je wilt kun je de vrucht ook doormidden snijden en beide helften uitlepelen. Het vruchtvlees is ook lekker in smoothies of door de yoghurt. Meng ook eens wat stukjes kaki door een salade voor een zoete twist!
