Dat schrift gaf hij door aan papa, die in het museum werkt en daar een geheime kamer heeft met studiemodellen van Gorgels en Brutelaars. En Melle vond met zijn superogen het schrift weer in papa’s studeerkamer. Hij en Bobba voegden hun eigen weetjes toe.
Alle drie vertellen ze over de verschillende Gorgelvolken, hun geschiedenis en oude verhalen. Hoe ze leven, hun gewoontes, hoe ze van elkaar houden en samen oud worden. Over hun opleiding tot Waakgorgel en hoe ze voor kinderen zorgen. Over EUG en EUS, en natuurlijk laat Bobba vecht-technieken zien. Met een uitgebreid verslag van de Gorgelympische Spelen, het grootste feest in de Gorgelwereld. Papa en opa geven een kijkje op hun vijanden: de Brutelaars en de Kotsbalgers. En voor wie wil oefenen is er het woordenboek van de Gorgelse taal.
