Een stimulerend drankje met een plantaardige smaak. Yerba Mate combineert de kracht van koffie en de gezondheidsvoordelen van thee in één drankje. Van de zes algemeen gebruikte stimulerende middelen in de wereld: koffie, thee, kolanoten, cacao en guarana, triomfeert yerba mate als de meest uitgebalanceerde, met toniciteit en voedzaamheid. Yerba mate is gemaakt van de natuurlijk stimulerende en voedende bladeren van de beroemde hulst (Ilex paraguariensis) uit Zuid-Amerika. Eeuwenlang beschouwden de Guarani's van Paraguay, Brazilië en Argentinië deze drank als een waar "geschenk van de goden". Sindsdien is het de meest gedronken drank in heel Zuid-Amerika, een waar symbool van gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid. Een korte infusie levert een zeer stimulerende drank op die tijdens het trekken weer wegtrekt.
