De Azzurro Gorgonzola is een kaas met een beschermde oorsprongsbenaming. Alle DOP (Denominazione Origine Protetta) producten mogen alleen worden geproduceerd in een bepaalde regio en hun grondstoffen moeten afkomstig zijn uit deze regio. Deze gorgonzola wordt uitsluitend gemaakt in Lombardije en rijpt 60 dagen. Door de kaas te injecteren met blauwschimmels ontstaan de typische blauwe aderen. Deze kaas is afkomstig van het Zuid-Duitse bedrijf Bio-verde, sinds 1986 Europees marktleider in biologische delicatessen.
Gebruiker Tips: Ten minste houdbaar tot op de verpakking vermelde datum mits gekoeld bewaard (max. 7 ° C). Na openen beperkt houdbaar.
Suggesties: Een ideaal kaasje voor bij de borrel of verwerkt in sauzen of quiche.
