De gouden topwijn van de Weingut Pfaffl, 8 maanden gerijpt in houten vaten, waardoor een rijke complexe smaak ontstaat. Alles aan deze wijn is Goud, de kleur en de smaak. Een smaak die uitzonderlijk lang blijft hangen. Een wijn om verliefd op (of bij!) te worden! Vanaf jaargang 2017 heet de Wijn Golden i.p.v. Goldjoch. Over jaargang 2017 schrijft Julia Harding, namens wijngoeroe Jancis Robinson: “Smells deliciously ripe and spicy. This is no wallflower. The spicy mineral aroma is almost savoury though there is lots of ripe fruit here – citrus and yellow plum. Big and powerful on the palate, lots of fruit sweetness and just a little bit of residual sugar but it is just in balance. Deep and long. Succulent and moreish on the finish.“
