Goji-bessen zijn afkomstig van de boksdoorn en worden al meer dan 600 jaar geteeld. De boksdoorn kan wel drie meter hoog worden, heeft langwerpige groene bladeren, lange doornen en paarse bloemen. De Goji-bes kenmerkt zich door een oranjerode kleur en een rijk gehalte aan sap. De gedroogde bes kan het beste vergeleken worden met een krent, maar met een meer frisse zoetzure smaak.De verpakking is gemaakt van polypropeen en soms een klein laagje polyetheen. Beiden zijn volledig recyclebaar.
Gebruiker Tips: Koel en droog bewaren. Tenminste houdbaar tot op de verpakking vermelde datum.
Suggesties: Lekker door de muesli, in een salade of door zelfgemaakte chocolade chuncks.
