Intens rode kleur met paarse reflecties. In de neus duidelijke bloemige en fruitige hints die toe te schrijven zijn aan zwarte kersen, het eindigt met pittige en aromatische groenten zoals brandnetel en vijgenblad. In de mond is het zacht, elegant en fluweelzacht met een uitzonderlijke persistentie.

BODEM: Mergel met sterk kalkhoudende klei
VINIFICATIE: De trossen werden voorzichtig ontsteeld met de uiteindelijke selectie van de bessen. De druiven werden vervolgens gedurende 15 dagen in horizontale roto-fermentoren verhandeld om de alcoholische gisting te voltooien. De malolactische gisting werd voltooid in eikenhouten barriques. Ongeveer 18 maanden gedeeltelijk in barriques van verschillende eiken en gedeeltelijk in roestvrijstalen kuipen. Laatste rijping op fles.
