Eno Fruit Salt Lemon is used to relieve you of the pain and discomfort stemming from acidity. Possessing an instant action formula, this antacid neutralises the excess acid produced in the stomach within six seconds of consuming it. This product helps you deal with the following six symptoms of acidity and heartburn - the burning sensation in the chest, burning sensation in the stomach, sour taste in the mouth, burning sensation in the throat, bitter taste in the mouth and discomfort of the upper abdomen (epigastric discomfort).
The Eno Fruit Salt Lemon Flavor is a slight variant on the highly popular antacid. In addition to the sodium bicarbonate, citric acid and sodium carbonate of the original, the lemon flavor variety also contains lemon and lime flavor as well as saccharin sodium as a sweetener.
All of these ingredients are approved and considered safe for use by both the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) as well as the EU FSA (Food and Safety Authority).
In terms of effectiveness and function, the Eno Lemon Flavor Fruit Salts are just as effective as the original and indicated for the same conditions.
