A refined and elegant Bourgogne Pinot Noir from a 60 year old vineyard, facing south. Hand picked grapes aged for 1 year in oak barrels.
Deep red with gorgeous ruby hue.
Flamboyant and dense.
Rich aromas of black cherry jam, dark chocolate, smoky spice, earthy oak, layered and complex.
The attack is generously textured with a good weight dominated by blackberry and liquorice with notes of spice. Silky tannins and a lovely, lingering finish.
