Deze mooie Zuid-Amerikaanse koffiebonen zijn op natuurlijke wijze cafeïnevrij gemaakt .Bij decafé koffie wordt de cafeïne uit de koffie gespoeld met water. Voor biologische koffie wordt hier de speciale CO2 methode gebruikt: een milieuvriendelijke manier van decafeïneren waarbij de bonen in water worden geweekt. Hierdoor zwellen de koffiebonen op en komt de cafeïne vrij. De cafeïne wordt vervolgens opgelost met koolzuur (CO2) onder een hoge druk. Daarna worden de koffiebonen gedroogd en verdampt de CO2 weer. In de koffie proef je een lichte rinsheid, welke wordt afgewisseld door een klein bittertje met hinten van noten en een fluweel zachte afdronk. Door zijn medium body is deze heel toegankelijk. Sterkte : 7. 100% arabica.
