De maalschijven zijn gemaakt van 'high-nitrogen martensitic steel' een extreem corrosie werend staal wat ook in de luchtvaart veel gebruikt wordt. De schijven worden stevig op hun plaats gehouden door de stalen behuizing, zijn zeer scherp en zo ontworpen dat de distributie van deeltjes koffie optimaal is.
De molen is super makkelijk af te stellen via de draaiknop aan de onderkant van de molen. En kan zelfs espressomaling aan.
