Het tweede boek over Boutje en zijn vader Ed, die samen bij de rommelberg wonen. Knutselkoning Boutje vindt het de fijnste plek op de hele wereld! Maar op een dag staat er een groot bord bij de berg: VERKOCHT. HIER MAAKT BARONES SCHMECKERMAN EEN SKIPARADIJS!
Ed weet wel wat ze moeten doen: inpakken en wegwezen.
Maar Boutje geeft zich niet zo maar gewonnen. Hij gaat op bezoek bij de barones en vraagt haar netjes of ze haar skiparadijs misschien ergens anders wil neerzetten.
Ze lacht hem uit en stuurt hem weg. 'Leuk hondje,' zegt ze nog, terwijl ze naar Ali wijst. Een dag later is Ali verdwenen!
Boutje en zijn vrienden komen in actie en maken een heus onderwaterpretpark om de barones te verslaan.
