Beer is helemaal klaar voor een dag bankhangen in het park. Er is geen wolk te bekennen en hij heeft al zijn favoriete dingen aan zijn zijde: een heerlijk knapperig koekje, een boek vol avonturen en een vrolijke ballon. Maar net als hij lekker zit, komt Vos aanzetten, die ook een plekje op de bank wil. Met enige tegenzin stemt Beer ermee in. Maar dan verschijnt Wolf alweer om een stukje van zijn koekje te vragen... en vervolgens springt Konijn erbij om in zijn boek te lezen! Als daarna ook Olifant naar hem toe sloft om met zijn ballon te spelen, wordt het Beer allemaal te veel.
