Jaime Hayon, een Spaanse kunstenaar en ontwerper die in 2000 zijn eigen studio oprichtte, heeft talloze meubels, verlichtingsarmaturen en woonaccessoires, hotelinterieurs, winkels, een lijn keramiek, schoenen en zijn eigen collectie horloges ontworpen. Met ontwerpen die worden tentoongesteld in prominente musea over de hele wereld, loopt Hayon voorop in een nieuwe golf van talenten die de grenzen tussen kunst, decoratie en design doen vervagen.
Hayon, die nu kantoren heeft in Italië, Spanje en Japan, wil graag nieuwe en expressieve vormen verkennen, met behoud van een diep respect voor ambachtelijke vaardigheden, verfijnde details en een passie voor spel.
