De vintage sardines worden gevangen voor de kust van Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie in de Vendée en worden geselecteerd op hun hoge vetgehalte van meer dan 12%. Een traditie die al sinds 2004 in stand wordt gehouden, waarbij de sardines binnen enkele uren na de visvangst met de hand worden bereid en ingemaakt. Dit recept is in de eerste plaats een bewaarsardientje, dat u moet laten rijpen. U moet het elke zes maanden omdraaien, zodat de gastronomische smaak behouden blijft en tot zijn recht komt. Miss Lulu, geïllustreerd door Coralie Joulin, zet haar Parijse uitstapje voort door de Opera van Parijs te verkennen.
