Traay Thijmhoning eko
In de zomer verzamelen de bijen nectar van de tijm die groeit in het ruige landschap en Nieuw-Zeeland. Kruidig en een beetje scherp, een honing met een geheel eigen karakter. Heerlijk bij een stukje (geiten)kaas ofin een vleesmarinade. De biologische honing voldoet aan de strenge normen van het EKO-keurmerk. Een greep uit deze normen:
- De bijen vliegen in natuurgebieden of op land van biologische werkende boeren
- Waar geen bestrijdingsmiddelen worden gebruikt
- Ver van industrie of verkeer
Indien de honing kristalliseert, zet de pot dan in handwarm water.
