Sencha Yame is een thee van hoge kwaliteit. Geoogst in Yame, de prefectuur Fukuoka, is deze thee herkenbaar aan zijn lange, zeer karakteristieke donkergroene bladeren. Deze thee is heerlijk bij de maaltijd en is de typische thee die je in restaurants in Japan kunt vinden. Sencha Yame is ook een van de meest populaire theesoorten in Japan en is goed voor het grootste deel van de Japanse theeproductie.
