Diep robijnrood van kleur. In de neus aroma’s van rode bessen, frambozen en specerijen. In het smaakpalet tonen van rijp klein zwartrood fruit, rabarber en vanille, die gepaard gaan met een afdronk met zachte tannines en mild frisse zuren.vinificatie
De Pinotage Bushvine van Lievland Vineyards wordt gemaakt van pinotagedruiven die afkomstig zijn van wijngaarden in de Paarl-regio (aangevuld met een heel klein percentage van cinsault en syrah). Na de oogst worden de druiven in de vinificatiekelder direct ontsteeld en gekneusd, waarna men deze 2 dagen lang gekoeld laat inweken. Hierna ondergaat de most temperatuur-gecontroleerd de alcoholische gisting op roestvrijstalen tanks. Na ongeveer 2 weken volgt de persing en wordt de jonge wijn overgestoken op deels Franse en deels Amerikaanse gebruikte eikenhouten barriques. Na 12 maanden rijping wordt de wijn geassembleerd, geklaard, gefilterd en gebotteld. ‹›Related Products
