Op 19 januari 1919 om 13.00 uur werd de koningsblauwe en witte vlag gehesen als een uitdagende daad van het herstel van de monarchie, die in 1910 was afgeschaft. Ter voorbereiding op de restauratie werd de munteenheid Tostões gecreëerd als opvolger naar de Reis. De munt werd echter nooit uitgegeven aangezien de revolutie mislukte en de republiek werd hersteld op 23 februari 1919. Deze mono-variëteit Antão Vaz geeft ons een frisse, knapperige en evenwichtige wijn met een aanhoudende afdronk.

VINIFICATIE: Druiventrossen worden met de hand geplukt in dozen van 20 kg en direct geperst om een heldere most te produceren die wordt verduidelijkt door natuurlijke bezinking. Alcoholische gisting vindt plaats in 100% roestvrijstalen vaten. 50% wordt 6 maanden gerijpt in franse en amerikaanse eikenhouten vaten.
