Een fruitige olie, die qua smaak zeker niet zwaar valt. De olie is afkomstig van kleinschalige familiebedrijven in Griekenland, op het Peloponesische schiereiland. Epikouris werkt alleen samen met 100% biologische of biodynamische bedrijven, die niet regulier telen. Oprichter Nikos Platanos ging in 1995 op zoek naar boeren die geïnteresseerd waren in een biologisch bedrijf, zonder gebruik van chemicaliën, pesticiden of insecticiden. Nu, na 20 jaar, heeft Nikos een groot netwerk aan bijlogische bedrijven opgebouwd en zijn zij samen de nummer 1 in het exporteren van biologische Griekse olijfproducten.
