Deze biologische boekweit wordt geteeld bij de Benedictijner abdij Maria Frieden in het Duitse Kirschletten. De nonnen helpen hiermee de bijen die door de gangbare landbouw bedreigd worden. Boekweit bloeit namelijk al vanaf half mei tot aan het einde van de zomer. Een stuifmeelparadijs voor onze gestreepte vriendjes dus! Boekweit kun je bereiden als rijst of droog roosteren. Om het lichter verteerbaar te maken kun je de korrels een nacht laten weken in water.De verpakking is gemaakt van polypropeen en soms een klein laagje polyetheen. Beiden zijn volledig recyclebaar.
Gebruiker Tips: Ten minste houdbaar tot op de verpakking vermelde datum. Droog en afgesloten bewaren.
Suggesties: Boekweit kun je bereiden als rijst of droog roosteren. Om het lichter verteerbaar te maken kun je de korrels een nacht laten weken in water. Kooktijd ca. 15 minuten.
